The Jatbula Trail is a stunning 62km bushwalk through Nitmiluk National Park in the Northern Territory.

Starting from Katherine Gorge and ending at Leliyn (Edith Falls), the trail follows an ancient Song Line of the Jawoyn people. Hikers traverse diverse landscapes including sandstone escarpments, monsoon forests, and crystal-clear waterfalls.

Along the way, there are opportunities to swim in secluded waterholes and see Aboriginal rock art. The trail typically takes five to six days to complete and is only open during the dry season (May to September). It’s a breathtaking blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage.
