Ira Butzner, Wind-Ice sculpture (July theme: WINTER WALKING)

This photo was taken during a Winter hike in January on top of the 'Hornisgrinde', highest peak in the Northern Black Forest of Germany. Frosty winds had turned the trees into ice sculptures. It was so cold you could not stay for long on the peak but hurried back down to the tree line to hide from the wind.
