Bernard Shore, Welcome Swallow Symmetry (NATURE WILDERNESS 2024)

The welcome swallows of Laratinga, South Australia are swift as they make their way around the water. Although staying airborne, ducking and weaving each other. They need to land sometime. I waited for the opportunity to photograph a Welcome Swallow as it came into land on a branch. As it did, it wings outstretched and head turned to one side. The early morning light giving its feathers life and shape. This image was shot on my Nikon Z8 and 800mm Z PF 6.3
