Scott Leggo, Strength (PLACES WILDERNESS 2022)

After three days of solid rain, the snow gums of Kosciuszko National Park were soaked. With the bark wet, the normally muted colours were now prominent and stood out from a distance. I explored many locations photographing these grand old trees. Here, I stood with the sounds of flowing water beneath me, creating a moody scene that symbolises the strength of this tree enduring the ever changing harsh conditions of the Australian Alps.
