Caroline Duddy, Sonder Sunrise (PLACES WILDERNESS 2024)

We started our ascent of Mt Sonder on the Larapinta Trail at 3am so we could reach the summit by first light. Our efforts were rewarded with a spectacular sunrise overlooking the West MacDonnell Ranges in central Australia.
