Deb Clark, Mirror Mirror (PLACES WILDERNESS 2024)
It was a scene straight out of a fairy tale. Striking mountain peaks reflecting in crystal calm water and clouds shaped like rainbows. Off to the right a storm was rolling in but on the left it was a summers day. It was a balance to get the smooth water without losing the curve of the cloud but managed it with a 30 second exposure. The predictable unpredictability of the weather in this scene was what drew me in and it was what kept me here. Captured in Storeidet, Lofoten with a Nikon Z8 and Z14-24 2.8 lens
