Brian Anderson, Hornbreen panorama (PLACES WILDERNESS 2024)
3 images stitched together was an essential element of capturing the context of Hornbreen (or Horn Glacier). With the face being over 40 metres high in places and some 5 kilometres wide, Hornbreen is the confluence of three separate glaciers at the end of fjord in southern Spitzbergen, Svalbard. Accessible only by ship and only in the summer months, Hornbreen is the epitome of wilderness sitting in the bigger wilderness of Svalbard.
