Craig Ford, Half Dome at Dawn, Yosemite National Park (PLACES WILDERNESS 2024)

Waiting patiently for the early morning mist and cloud to clear from around the iconic Half Dome in California's Yosemite National Park, I was rewarded with the briefest of windows to photograph this gigantic granite monolith framed by the ethereal looking elements before it abruptly disappeared again.
