Mark Newsham, Franklin River entry to the Great Ravine. (PLACES WILDERNESS 2022)

10 days, eight day of rain which made for great rafting. This image was taken at the end of a long day of rafting. We were camped just meters from here. I slept in a hammock between two small trees. Under a small tarp with it raining all night. The enormous roar of the river running all through the darkest night is a fantastic reminder as you sleep that you are in deep wilderness.
