Cecily Fletcher, Fitzgeralds Hut, Victorian High Plains (October theme" 'HUT & SHELTERS')

Uncertain of how far we were from lunch at Fitzgerald's Hut, Mt Feathertop -it was a welcome sight as it emerged from the mist. It was also great to see the good condition of the hut -a testament to the volunteer labour of some dedicated carpenters and friends who lug the materials by hand and wheelbarrow to ensure a place of welcome and safety is there in the future.
