Sharon Swanson, Big Island Hibiscus (May theme: FLORA)

When travelling through Micronesia and Hawaii earlier this year I was amazed by the many varieties of hibiscus I saw. We only get a few varieties of this flower in Australia and I was continually surprised when I came across yet another variation. And what works of art they are. It was a difficult decision to make but this one came out as my clear favorite.
