Arya Shahrdami, Bay of Fires (PLACES WILDERNESS 2024)

During my recent visit to Bay of Fires on Tassie’s east coast, I used UV light, and it completely transformed the scene! It was amazing to watch the vibrant colours of the bio-fluorescent lichens on the rocks come to life in the darkness. At the same time, the pristine night sky was equally stunning — even with a 15-second exposure single shot, the colours of the stars were clearly visible.
