Nikita Booth, Basalt Columns (PLACES WILDERNESS 2023)

While away camping and exploring the rugged coast of Western Australia, I came across this massive outcrop of hexagonal basalt columns that were formed 135 million years ago by volcanic lava flow. One of the most dramatic and breathtaking coastlines I've ever seen.
