Stephen Sharkey, A Wave Runs Through It (PEOPLE WILDERNESS 2022)

"A River Runs Through It" is a 1976 semi-autobiographical novel by Norman Maclean that details his youth in Montana, fly fishing with his brother and father. Here a father and his two sons are fishing in Port Stephens NSW, at sunrise as the waves and morning mist roll in. I've never been fishing before, but I have a brother and a father and I felt this families quiet moment of connection and peace.
