Here's a great entry from this year's Wilderness Photographer of the Year, presented by Mountain Designs.

Ben Chubb's photo Forgotten Flame is about about light and drama.

The caption says: "A powerful sunset above the infamous Beggary Bumps, in Tasmania's dramatic Western Arthurs. Mount Columbia and Lake Oberon's Mount Sirius can also be seen in the distance.

After the most technical day of hiking, 7 days of snow, storms, and solitude (no one else was seen throughout the whole hike!) I was ready to collapse in my tent. But when I spotted a small gap on the horizon, I gathered the last of my strength to climb a bit further up the mountain, to this little grove of Pandani, for sunset. And then it was all worth it."

And we have to agree with Ben. It was all worth it!
