Great Walks editor Brent McKean was recently interviewed on the ABC Radio talking about the new Snowies Alpine Walk in Kosciuszko National Park, southern NSW.
The 56km/4-day walk passes through diverse ecosystems, from snow gums and wildflower fields to the rugged, wind-swept alpine zone. It’s a relatively moderate hike, making it accessible to most people, though conditions can change quickly in this high-altitude environment.
